“Caring has the gift of making the ordinary special.”
– George R. Bach

D.C.S.M. hosted the OneBlood bus on 9-25-2017, in the school parking lot.

As this was our first blood drive, the OneBlood organization that ran the drive suggested our goal to be 13 donors. Our parents and staff wanted to help their community and more than exceeded the expectations. Did you know that every blood donation can help saving three lives? Not only did we have 30 donors, but we had to turn away seven volunteers because the OneBlood bus ran out of blood bags!

Cannot wait until the next drive in December. We will have two busses and more staff on board to make sure we can accommodate all our donors.

Our community did great, way to go D.C.S.M. family!
